BLT developed AutoCAL to address galvanometer calibration issues in metal additive manufacturing. Drawing on over a decade of experience using hundreds of PBF-LB/M machines, It developed AutoCAL, which is tailored to meet specific production conditions and can offer more customized services.
Unlike traditional semi-automatic methods, BLT-AutoCAL uses photosensitive sensors and BLT’s proprietary alignment correction controller (ACC), reducing calibration errors to less than 0.03mm and improving precision by 40%. Furthermore, the calibration time is significantly reduced; Taking BLT-S400 as an example, the calibration time for a six-laser equipment drops to 70 minutes, a 23% increase in efficiency. For a three-laser equipment, it is reduced to 40 minutes, a 33% improvement in efficiency.
BLT-AutoCAL supports high customization for fields like aerospace, medical, and shoe mold, meeting high-precision demands. It also supports personalized algorithm adjustments and can be integrated with BLT-MCS, thus reducing learning cost and ensuring high-precision and high-quality calibration.
