From April 4th??to 6th , 2018, the start-up meeting of Airbus A330 additive manufacturing project was held in BLT. Airbus Group has 10 members and CAS Group has 2 members to co-operate with BLT. The meeting focused on the following aspects of technology, quality and production.

BLT’s cooperation with Airbus and CAS began in 2013. In September 2017, BLT was invited to attend the Airbus Global Suppliers Conference as the sole provider of 3D printing technology.

In November 2017, BLT signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Airbus.
In March 2018, after three rounds of competition, BLT succeeded in winning the bid. In April, Airbus, CAS and BLT signed the A330 work package agreement in Xi’an and held the start-up meeting of the A330 Additive Manufacturing Project.
BLT attaches great importance to this cooperation with Airbus, which is an important opportunity and challenge for Bright Laser Technologies and every BLTer. During this period, BLT has made long-term preparation, improvement and research; only in 2017 , BLT has invested more than 100 million yuan in Airbus projects; BLT has optimized and upgraded post-processing equipment such as heat treatment equipment, hot isostatic pressing equipment, X-ray detection, fluorescence detection, CT detection, physicochemical and mechanical testing equipment, and has also upgraded equipment in risk management, KC management, lean production, etc. With unremitting exploration and excellence, the company finally passed the preliminary stage evaluation of Airbus. BLT believes that peers with excellence will eventually achieve excellence.
The launch of the Airbus A330 Additive Manufacturing Project will be a new start for BLT. BLT hopes that with the joint efforts of both sides, the Airbus A330 Additive Manufacturing Project will be successful as soon as possible.
